Job Summary
Harvest cochlear tissues, perform immunohistochemistry and confocal imaging, and conduct PCR and RT-PCR analysis using established protocols. Measure blood flow via intravital fluorescence microscopy and assess auditory function with brainstem response recordings. Manage mouse colonies, execute genotyping, and administer agents through fine surgery such as semicircular canal procedures. Analyze data, draft scientific papers, and present findings at conferences while supervising junior fellows on protocols like cell culture and tissue isolation. Coordinate independent and collaborative research activities for the lab.

- Knowledge of animal physiology and biology
