Job Summary
Conduct laboratory, translational, or clinical research under the direct guidance of a faculty member at the Barrow Neuroimaging Innovation Center. Develop skills essential for success as an independent investigator by conducting experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to scientific discourse and publications. Apply advanced diffusion and functional MRI techniques to assess brain connectivity and network integrity in Parkinson's disease across clinical and preclinical models. This role supports a multidisciplinary research program focused on neuropathological changes, with mentorship from Dr. Ashley Stokes within an internationally recognized clinical research environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D., post-baccalaureate M.D. or D.Sc. degree or equivalent in a relevant field of endeavor
- Laboratory or clinical research at the post-baccalaureate level
- Interest in a faculty member's line of study
Desired Qualifications
- Experience writing research reports concerning own work
- Familiarity with a biomedical discipline
- PhD in neuroscience biomedical engineering physics or a related discipline
- Prior experience in MRI research and/or neurodegenerative disease models
