Job Summary
Post Closing Specialist responsible for driving clarity and closure in the loan process after review by reviewing, updating, and clearing processing, underwriting and closing conditions with urgency and precision. Manage incoming documents for completeness and accuracy, evaluate and adjust conditions to meet requirements, organize and maintain loan files in Imaging, and proactively communicate with branches and partners. Support special projects and additional responsibilities as needed. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience in processing, closing or underwriting, with knowledge of FHA, VA and Conventional loan documentation. Must be able to juggle multiple priorities, be proactive, communicate effectively, maintain high attention to detail, and follow established procedures to meet deadlines. Proficiency with LOS is a plus along with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years prior experience in processing, closing or underwriting
- Knowledge of FHA, VA and Conventional loan documentation
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, be proactive, an excellent communicator, high attention to detail, time management, strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to follow established operating procedures and meet deadlines
- Experience with LOS a plus, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe
