Job Summary
Part-time Post-acute NP/PA opportunity in the Southern Maryland Region for an experienced Advanced Practice Provider. The role involves providing medical services across skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, and assisted living facilities; performing exams and assessments; developing treatment plans; coordinating transitions between care settings; collaborating with a multidisciplinary team; and ensuring accurate billing for services. Requirements include 1+ year in an acute AP role (preferably LTC or SNF), graduate-level credentialing for PA-C or NP, state licensure in good standing, DEA and CDS in good standing, and credentialing readiness. Strong clinical skills, autonomous work capability, and proficiency with EMR systems are essential, along with excellent organizational, communication, and ethical standards.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in an acute role (preferably long-term care or skilled nursing facility or similar inpatient experience)
- Graduate of an accredited school and program, respective to role (PA-C, or NP)
- Licensure to practice medicine in good standing (state governing body)
- Federal DEA certification in good standing
- State CDS in good standing
- Capable of being credentialed at designated locations
- Strong clinical skills and competency in evaluation, diagnosis and treatment
- Ability to work autonomously with flexibility and organizational skills
- Effective teamwork and multi-disciplinary collaboration
- Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to function effectively under stress
- Strong computer skills including EMR systems
- Commitment to healthcare compliance and high ethical standards
