Job Summary
Lead the development and implementation of the SEN & Inclusion policy; provide strategic direction for the support of students with SEND; line-manage the SEND administrator; lead the SEN support leads at each centre; ensure that SEND support plans are implemented and regularly reviewed; work with teaching staff to understand and support SEND needs; provide training and professional development for staff; monitor progress and evaluate the effectiveness of SEND support; ensure appropriate teaching materials and resources are available; report on performance to senior management and the Board; support centres in creating an inclusive learning environment; manage strategies for challenging behaviours and safety; coordinate with external agencies in crises; conduct inclusion inspections and monitor funding processes; maintain up-to-date records and participate in safeguarding and recruitment processes; travel to multiple centres as required. This role requires travel between Watford and other education centres, with a focus on strategic leadership of SEND and inclusion initiatives across the organisation.

- GCSE in English and Maths or Functional Skills level 2 in both
