Job Summary
Positive Support Specialists (PSS) provide support to individuals with intensive medical, behavioral, and mental health needs in ICRS programs. Responsibilities include assisting clients in essential life skills, advocating for their rights and medical care, completing documentation, managing crisis situations, and engaging in trauma-informed care. Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills and the physical ability to assist clients effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with a variety of individuals
- Physically able to stand, squat, bend, or walk for long periods
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Cleared by a Bureau of Criminal Affairs (BCA) background study
- Possess a driver's license and pass Motor Vehicle Check (MVR)

- Degree in a field relevant to this role
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
