Job Summary
POS Support Agent provides frontline Tier 1-2 POS hardware/software support across Express Wash Concepts locations, troubleshooting POS terminals, kiosks, payment devices, printers, cash drawers, and barcode scanners; documents and escalates tickets, assists with software/config changes, and ensures PCI-DSS compliance; requires ability to guide site staff and IT field technicians, maintain ticket records, contribute to knowledge base, and collaborate with the team; must be able to support business hours across locations and adapt to a fast-paced, high-volume environment with strong customer service and clear communication.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in information technology or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or POS system support in a multi-location environment
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting POS terminals, payment devices, kiosks, mobile selling tablets or related hardware in a customer-facing setting
- Experience with a structured IT support environment with defined SLAs and ticketing workflows preferred
- Any relevant IT certifications (CompTIA A+, HDI Support Center Analyst, or similar) a plus
