Job Summary
Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging English lessons for teenage students following the ANGLO communicative syllabus, emphasizing speaking and listening skills. Liaise with the Teaching Manager regarding all teaching and student matters, while selecting supplementary materials sensitive to cultural backgrounds. Complete weekly schemes of work, attendance registers, and academic reports, ensuring students are prepared for presentations, excursions, and cultural visits. Respond to incidents and complaints promptly, adhering to safeguarding and welfare policies, and participate in teacher briefings, meetings, and CPD sessions. Create an organized, inclusive learning environment that supports British culture and provides adequate feedback on student work.
Required Qualifications
- You have the right to work in the UK
- University degree
- TEFLI qualification or equivalent experience (e.g.: CELTA, Trinity CertTESOL, PGCE, 120 hour TEFL course)
- Native or near-native English fluency
