Job Summary
Ports Digital Infrastructure Lead for Latin America at AECOM focusing on strategic business development and the design, deployment, and operation of IT/OT security and physical security systems for critical infrastructure in ports, airports, and logistics hubs. Responsibilities include leading opportunity capture, serving as technical point of contact for cargo transport security solutions, defining security architectures, preparing procurement documents, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with international standards. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or science field, 10+ years of security/cybersecurity experience in critical infrastructure, hands-on experience with IT/OT systems, SCADA/PLC, CCTV and access control, and advanced English proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, a related field, or demonstrated equivalent experience and/or academic training
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in security and/or cybersecurity within operations or business development for critical infrastructure (ports, airports, and logistics hubs)
- Experience in at least 2 projects involving participation in: Design and deployment of infrastructure as well as security and cybersecurity solutions in critical infrastructure operations (ports, airports, and logistics hubs)
- Implementation or management of monitoring and log management systems in complex environments
- Project development and/or information systems
- Knowledge of security architectures (IT/OT, networks, surveillance systems, access control, etc.)
- International security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, IEC, among others)
- Critical infrastructure protection technologies
- Ability to develop technical specifications and procurement documents
- Advanced English (spoken and written)
- Specialization or certifications in cybersecurity or information security is highly desirable
- Experience in passenger and/or cargo operation environments is preferred
