Job Summary
Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities; assess mental status; diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans; apply psychopharmacology and non-pharmacological treatments; staff clinical cases with psychiatrists; required Oregon nursing license in psychiatry and Oregon Pharmacist license (DEA); 1 year of geriatric psych experience and 1 year SNF/acute rehab experience; fluency in Spanish a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in Oregon by the Oregon Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry
- Licensed by the Oregon Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (DEA)
- 1 year of Geropsychiatry experience
- 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals
