Job Summary
Assess the credit and financial strength of the Capital Markets portfolio by performing fundamental credit analysis on portfolio companies; maintain and build financial models to incorporate forward-looking risk; recommend loan investments, extensions, and amendments for approval; analyze financial information to determine creditworthiness; determine internal Probability of Default (PD) and Loss Given Default (LGD) ratings; monitor and ensure loans are properly risk rated and in good performance status; perform loan servicing tasks including partial releases, subordinations, re-amortizations, assumptions, severance agreements, and amendments; collaborate with lending staff to develop appropriate credit decisions and reports for management; interpret and communicate lending policies and procedures; comply with credit administration practices; travel 25-50% of the time.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience
- four (4) or more years of progressively responsible banking or related corporate credit experience
- extensive experience in the analysis of complex credits
