Portfolio Operations Support Specialist – CVC Investment Portfolio Management

Job Summary

Request periodic materials from portfolio companies and investment funds after completion, including ownership confirmations, cap tables, financial statements, and quarterly reports. Collect, organize, and archive documents by designated folder structures while identifying missing items and following up as needed. Update internal dashboards, spreadsheets, and management systems with investment amounts, ownership percentages, and valuation data. Support email-based communication with Korea headquarters, the U.S. entity, and fund managers to ensure smooth execution of post-investment operational tasks. Maintain supporting files required for finance, tax, audit, and reporting purposes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Korean & English
  • Strong written communication skills in Korean, particularly for emails and document-based communication
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and classify basic English emails and documents
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
  • Ability to organize documents and data carefully and accurately
  • Ability to conduct timely and diligent follow-ups according to set schedules
  • Responsible and detail-oriented approach to repetitive and detail-heavy tasks
  • Ability to communicate calmly, clearly, and accurately with multiple stakeholders
  • Attention to Detail and Accuracy: Ability to accurately manage detailed information such as investment amounts, ownership percentages, dates, document names, and file versions
  • Diligent Follow-Up Skills: Ability to regularly contact portfolio companies or fund managers, track responses, and identify missing materials to ensure timely receipt
  • Strong Korean Communication Skills: Clear, polite, and professional Korean email writing skills to communicate effectively with the Korea headquarters and internal teams
  • Basic English Comprehension: Basic understanding of English emails and documents to communicate smoothly with overseas portfolio companies, fund managers, and the U.S. entity
  • Responsible Document Management: Ability to systematically store and manage documents according to internal guidelines for audit, tax, finance, and internal reporting purposes
