Job Summary
Design, construct, and monitor multi-asset, equity, and fixed-income portfolios while conducting performance attribution, risk analysis, and rebalancing reviews. Research securities and funds for inclusion in Wealth Solutions offerings, then evaluate third-party managers on investment philosophy, process, and performance to support alternative investment opportunities in private equity, credit, and hedge funds. Partner with financial advisors to develop customized solutions for high-net-worth clients, analyze tax-aware strategies, and assist with complex situations like concentrated positions and liquidity events. Prepare reports, analyses, and meeting materials for internal and external stakeholders while maintaining manager research files and ongoing monitoring reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer
Desired Qualifications
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education
- CFA Charterholder
- Candidates with significant investment management experience
- Series 65 license
- Three to five (or more) years of experience in portfolio management, investment research, due diligence, wealth management, or a related investment role
- Demonstrated knowledge of portfolio construction, asset allocation, manager due diligence, and investment markets
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex investment concepts effectively to advisors, clients, and internal stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment and contribute to investment decision-making processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Bloomberg, and investment analytics tools
- Experience with portfolio management, research, and reporting systems
