Job Summary
Maintain relationships with high-net-worth individual and institutional clients by conducting interviews to determine income, expenses, insurance coverage, and financial objectives. Perform proprietary investment research and due diligence to develop Investment Policy Statements documenting risk tolerance, cash flow needs, and tax situations. Consult clients to provide financial advice, review accounts for life changes, and use spreadsheets to back up recommendations. Work closely with Trust Administrative Officers to manage account needs and develop new relationships through community visibility and referrals. Adhere to all compliance issues, fiduciary standards, and regulatory rules governing financial institutions while identifying and referring business to other Nicolet areas.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or equivalent experience at a financial institution
- Series 65 or currently holds and is in good standing as a CFP, CFA, CIMA, ChFC, or PFS
- Ongoing knowledge of state and federal securities regulations
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong level of comfort with PC, phone system, general office equipment
- Attention to detail, ability to learn and use a variety of software
- Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
- Maintain composure and communicate clearly when under pressure
- Possess a strong work ethic and be able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate degree preferred
- 2+ years of investment experience preferred
- CFA and CAIA designations preferred
