Portfolio Manager – Life Insurance

Job Summary
Manage key stakeholder relationships with the product provider, operations teams, and governance groups to ensure alignment on priorities, service standards, and joint delivery plans. Drive growth and acquisition by sizing new business opportunities, preparing business cases, and supporting strategic initiatives while ensuring portfolio compliance across all regulatory and legal requirements. Partner with Marketing on proposition positioning and customer insights to deliver growth initiatives. Own the day-to-day operational management of the partnership to ensure commitments to the product provider and members are met. Report to the Head of Life Insurance and contribute to board papers and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant insurance industry experience
- Proven partnership or relationship management experience between financial service providers
- At least 5 years' relevant experience
- Strong understanding of the insurance regulatory landscape
- Strong commercial acumen
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to turn insight into commercially sound proposals
