Job Summary
Portfolio Manager III responsible for managing a commercial loan portfolio, underwriting renewals/modifications, collecting financial statements, and evaluating credit risk. Works with Credit Manager on high-risk loans including remediation, collection or liquidation, while partnering with Relationship Manager teams to maintain client relationships and identify cross-sell opportunities. Requires thorough knowledge of commercial lending processes, credit evaluation, underwriting, policy compliance, and the ability to produce timely reporting. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Sageworks for financial spreads; travel within defined market area expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of experience in a commercial lending environment with proven experience in credit evaluation, portfolio risk assessment and/or special assets
- Experience as a Relationship Manager is a plus
