Job Summary
Senior Portfolio Manager for Flexport Capital responsible for the full lifecycle of capital clients in North America, driving revenue growth and credit health across a multi-product lending portfolio. Lead a team of Account Managers, own executive relationships with C-suite clients (CFOs, Founders, CEOs), identify opportunities for credit line increases and cross-sell Term Loans and asset-based lending, analyze shipment and financial data to inform capital decisions, and collaborate with Credit, Product, Legal, and senior leadership to shape strategy and go-to-market. Build and refine systems and playbooks to scale performance, and develop trusted relationships to position Flexport Capital as a strategic working capital partner. Proficiency with Salesforce and data tools to design dashboards and provide real-time portfolio health insights.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in commercial finance, fintech lending, or a related field
- at least 2 years of experience managing a team
- portfolio ownership with multi-product lending experience
- financial & credit acumen including covenant compliance, lien priority, and collections
- ability to drive revenue growth through upsell and cross-sell within existing customer base
- strong communication and executive presence with high-level stakeholders (CFOs/CEOs)
- experience building systems and playbooks from scratch and driving adoption across a team
- proficiency with Salesforce and data tools, dashboard design and real-time portfolio health reporting
