Job Summary
Manage a commercial loan portfolio, ensuring quality, profitability, and growth while supporting Agricultural Loan Officers. Complete new and renewed loan underwriting, verify credit request packages, and service as the primary contact and account manager for specific relationships. Assist in risk assessments, support loan package creation including commitment letters and credit narratives, and maintain accurate loan files to ensure data integrity. Resolve loan-related issues, assist in closings, and monitor past dues, overdrafts, and risk-grading processes. Stay informed on industry trends affecting the portfolio. Perform other duties as assigned by commercial loan officers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in portfolio management, loan processing, or related banking field
- Proven expertise in financial analysis, risk management, and due diligence processes
- Working knowledge of Excel, and Word
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Communicate effectively and conformable engaging with clients
- Math, analytical, and accounting skills
