Job Summary
Manage day-to-day loan servicing and portfolio operations for Access Plus Capital, including conducting financial analysis, underwriting, restructuring, and coordinating technical assistance for borrower success. Oversee personnel management functions such as hiring, performance evaluations, and employee development while investigating client financial statements and analyzing credit information. Participate in portfolio reviews to collect outstanding payments, liquidate non-compliant businesses, and coordinate loan recovery efforts including write-offs and collateral liquidation. Execute loan change-in-terms for client relief, monitor delinquency rates, and present monthly portfolio performance to the Risk Committee. Work evenings and weekends as required to meet business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in finance/banking sector with small businesses with increased responsibility and supervisory experience
- Minimum of one (1) year of Commercial Loan portfolio management, loan restructuring and credit analysis, and collections and recovery experience
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience managing and developing staff, including performance management, coaching, and team leadership
- Strong understanding of Small Business Administration (SBA), U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), and government guarantee and/or credit enhancement program rules, regulations, and reporting requirements
- Understanding of business financial statements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related business software
- Ability to learn new database systems
- Valid California driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Adequate auto insurance as required by State law
- Insurability by Access Plus Capital carrier for those driving personal vehicles on behalf of the organization
- Pass criminal background investigation and credit history check
- Maintaining criminal clearance
- Acceptable credit history
- Eligibility to participate in Small Business Administration (SBA) Loan Programs
- Willingness to work non-traditional hours and days to meet the needs of this position
