Portfolio Management Analyst

Job Summary
Monitor portfolio company performance by reviewing financial statements, covenant compliance certificates, and audited reports to identify trends, risks, and operational improvement opportunities. Analyze operating and financial results against budgets, track liquidity and cash flow, and escalate material issues to senior investment professionals. Maintain portfolio data within firm systems, develop dashboards and KPI reporting, and support quarterly valuation processes and investment committee materials. Build detailed financial models for forecasting and assist in preparing financing memoranda, due diligence, and post-close reporting. Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors to support the investment lifecycle. Location: Tampa, Florida. 5 days a week in office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field with a strong academic record
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in private equity, private credit, investment banking, corporate banking, valuation, consulting, accounting, or another finance-related role
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience building or maintaining financial models
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in how AI can be applied to financial, industry, and investment analysis
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Highly motivated, intellectually curious, and eager to learn in a collaborative team environment
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to take ownership of responsibilities
- 5 days a week in office
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with portfolio monitoring systems (e.g., S&P Global iLEVEL, Wall Street Office) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or Tableau)
