Job Summary
Portfolio Maintenance Manager responsible for leading maintenance operations and associate performance across a portfolio of 7 communities (over 1900 units). Lead regional teams, collaborate with Community Managers, CapEx teams, and other departments to implement processes that improve associate and resident satisfaction; oversee preventative maintenance programs, vendor contracts, and service provider performance; participate in CapEx planning and operating budgets; conduct Life Safety Evaluations (LSEs) and Mechanical Evaluations (MEs); ensure safety, compliance with OSHA and building codes, disaster recovery readiness, and alignment with AVB standards; drive resident satisfaction, quality assurance, and KPIs; develop and coach on-site Maintenance Managers, forecast resource needs, and manage financial performance and cost controls across the portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in multi-site property maintenance management (multi-family, commercial, hotel/resort, or retail)
- 5+ years of direct supervisory experience
- Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
- Certifications in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, or fire systems preferred; state/local certifications as required
