Job Summary
Coordinate annual operating and capital budgets for the assigned portfolio, preparing monthly and quarterly rolling cash flow forecasts and revenue projections. Conduct rigorous monthly reviews of actual versus budgeted financial performance, investigating root causes with property teams and recommending corrective actions. Monitor key performance indicators including profitability, occupancy rates, net effective rent, and renewal trends while utilizing RealPage OneSite to extract data and audit ledger accuracy. Present comprehensive financial packages to internal leadership and external stakeholders, ensuring all reporting deadlines are met. Act as the primary financial advisor to property managers, collaborating with senior leadership to optimize property-level budgets and identify revenue-generating opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience of financial analysis with a focus on corporate budgeting and forecasting in the property management sector/industry
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related business field
- Extensive knowledge of OneSite
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Proven experience managing complex, multi-property budgeting process from start to finish
- Strong analytic mindset with the capability to evaluate portfolio data to identify revenue-generating opportunities and cost savings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial operational staff
- Ability to take initiative and be self-motivated
