Job Summary
Portfolio Finance Associate at Schonfeld’s Global Treasury team in New York. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day equity financing processes (locates, borrow rates, PB allocations), supporting the Americas Head of Portfolio Finance and Global Treasury, interacting with investment teams, sell-side partners, vendors and internal groups to perform daily treasury functions, optimizing treasury activities across the equities platform, and contributing to the build-out of treasury systems and processes with a focus on delta one. The role emphasizes automation and scalable processes, leveraging technology to support investment decision-making. Preferred background includes experience with KDB, R, Git, Python or SQL; strong coding interest or capability is desired.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years of securities lending or delta one experience with buy side and/or sell side relationships
- Strong corporate actions knowledge
- Technical mindset with coding experience or willingness to learn coding
- Self-starter able to work independently
- Desire to develop and own processes end to end
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Growth mindset
