Job Summary
Align with regional commercial and finance teams on strategies within the Annual Operating Plan and five-year Regional Strategy. Develop regional and subregional go-to-market solution portfolios using commercialized blends and concepts. Collaborate with marketing on product manuals and seller sheets for successful solution delivery. Coach commercial and technical leaders on blend business development, formulation, and regional nuances. Review regional development pipelines, initiate new commercial recipes, and manage changes in commercial ingredients, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance. Set floor and target pricing, update product sampling, and align with production plants on volume demand and supply chain impacts. Manage regional contracts and participate in monthly alignment meetings with leadership and technical service teams on project status and growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Ideally 10 + years of product management or related commercial experience in specialty ingredients in Food, Beverage & Nutrition Industry
- Strong business acumen
- Advanced 'Portfolio & Technical Application Expertise'
- Understanding of ingredient solution applications and market trends
- Ability to proactively identify growth opportunities and influence senior stakeholders
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Strong technical product and food applications knowledge
- Ability to function well in a highly matrixed organization
- Must be able to travel up to 30% or as required within the respective region
- Must be based in either Shanghai, China or Singapore
