Job Summary
Portfolio Banker in Emerging Middle Market Banking focuses on managing and growing a portfolio of Commercial Banking clients with annual revenue between $20 million and $100 million. Responsible for retaining and deepening client relationships, advocating a suite of solutions (credit, treasury services, international banking, syndicated finance, commercial card, merchant services), and collaborating with internal partners to promote profitable client outcomes. Stay current on industry trends, identify opportunities for innovation or strategic partnerships, and pursue efficiency through automation while upholding risk management controls and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Five years direct lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships
- Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
- Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources
- Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
- Strategic and inquisitive mindset, knowledge of the bank and its offerings, and ability to gain support from partners to manage large client book
