Job Summary
Portfolio Banker within the Commercial Banking team drives growth and retention of profitable Emerging Middle Market clients ($20M–$100M revenue). Owns deepening client relationships by leveraging the bank’s credit, treasury services, international banking, syndicated finance, commercial card, and merchant services solutions. Responsible for identifying opportunities to grow the portfolio, promoting innovative banking solutions, staying current on industry trends, and pursuing efficiency through automation while adhering to risk management protocols and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Seven years direct lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships
- Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
- Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources
- Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
- Strategic and inquisitive mindset, knowledge of the bank and its offerings, and ability to gain support from partners to manage large client book
