Job Summary
Generate analytical reports and dashboards using Plug and Play's portfolio and investment data to support decision-making across Ventures, Marketing, Sales, and Legal. Build and maintain Google Sheets and Excel models with advanced formulas while reconciling data across internal sources and flagging discrepancies. Maintain data quality by preparing and validating submissions to external databases like PitchBook, Crunchbase, and TIME. Automate reporting workflows using SQL, VBA, or AI tools to improve efficiency. Collaborate on custom analyses and ad hoc administrative needs as they arise. This role offers hands-on experience in venture capital within a global innovation platform connecting startups with major corporations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field
- Ability to understand complex datasets, identify trends, and communicate insights effectively
- Highly proficient with Google Sheets/Excel, including advanced formulas and data analysis
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Independent, curious, and eager to work in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with SQL, VBA, AI tools is a plus (e.g. Claude)
