Job Summary
Protect and promote the Whataburger brand by guaranteeing customers a hot, freshly prepared product made to order and promptly served. Operate designated food production or customer service stations, stock drink, fry, and dining room areas, and follow established recipes while maintaining proper par levels using First-In/First-Out procedures. Clean customer service areas, restrooms, and food production units; mop spills immediately and dispose of trash properly. Achieve certification in specific stations and cleaning/sanitation procedures, answer the phone courteously, and notify management of equipment failures or leaks. Submit schedule change requests, attend all meetings and training sessions, and demonstrate respect for all team members.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, lift, shake, stir, pour, carry and push.
- Ability to read (Orders on tickets, Menu Board, receipts, etc.)
- Frequent contact/immersion of hands in water, cleaning and sanitation solutions, meat products, poultry products, seafood and produce items.
- Frequent washing of hands.
- Completion of station certifications and assessments for each position
