Job Summary
Protect and promote the Whataburger brand while operating designated food production or customer service stations to ensure hot, freshly prepared products are delivered within service time standards. Stock drink, fry, and dining room stations, prepare produce using FIFO procedures, and maintain equipment and cleaning supplies to support continuous service. Answer the phone courteously, handle cash per policy, and clean customer service areas including restrooms and dining rooms. Achieve certification in specific stations and sanitation procedures, attend all required meetings and training, and communicate customer service problems or schedule changes to management promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have the ability to stand during entire shift.
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, lift, shake, stir, pour, carry and push.
- Ability to read (Orders on tickets, Menu Board, receipts, etc.)
- Frequent contact/immersion of hands in water, cleaning and sanitation solutions, meat products, poultry products, seafood and produce items.
- Frequent washing of hands.
- Arrives at the restaurant with sufficient time to report for work in a clean, complete uniform as scheduled.
- Learns, understands, and performs within the specific guidelines for sanitation and cleanliness whenever working.
- Completion of station certifications and assessments for each position
- Achieves certification at the specific stations associated with a position
- Achieves certification in all cleaning and sanitation procedures
