Job Summary
Ensure each customer receives a hot, freshly-prepared product made to order and served promptly in a clean, friendly environment. Operate all designated food production or customer service stations while maintaining proper par levels and following First-In/First-Out storage procedures. Protect and promote the Whataburger brand by answering phones courteously, communicating service issues to management, and attending all required training sessions. Achieve certification in specific stations and cleaning/sanitation protocols, maintain equipment and customer service areas, and handle cash according to company policies. This role requires standing for the entire shift, lifting up to 50 lbs, and reading tickets and menu boards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have the ability to stand during entire shift.
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, lift, shake, stir, pour, carry and push.
- Ability to read (Orders on tickets, Menu Board, receipts, etc.)
- Frequent contact/immersion of hands in water, cleaning and sanitation solutions, meat products, poultry products, seafood and produce items.
- Frequent washing of hands.
- Arrives at the restaurant with sufficient time to report for work in a clean, complete uniform as scheduled.
- Learns, understands, and performs within the specific guidelines for sanitation and cleanliness whenever working.
- Completion of station certifications and assessments for each position
- Achieves certification at the specific stations associated with a position
- Achieves certification in all cleaning and sanitation procedures
