Job Summary
Conduct daily cleaning and maintenance across the restaurant and grounds, including sanitizing areas, emptying trash, performing light repairs like bulb replacement, and managing limited grounds tasks such as mowing and trimming. Monitor property for safety hazards, ensure cleaning supplies are stocked, and adjust priorities based on gameday needs while maintaining windows, floors, and furniture. Operate basic tools safely and report issues to management, adhering to all federal, state, and local sanitation standards. Work flexible part-time hours in a fast-paced, team-driven environment supporting the championship spirit of Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, carry up to 50 lbs, and climb/reach as needed
- Comfortable operating basic tools and equipment safely
- Attention to detail and pride in keeping spaces clean and orderly
- Friendly, outgoing, and team-oriented with strong communication skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to act quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable and ready to jump in wherever needed to keep our spaces safe, clean, and ready for guests
- A hard worker who takes pride in doing the behind-the-scenes work that keeps our restaurant running smoothly
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
- Proper procedures for cleaning and use of tools and chemicals are required
