Job Summary
As a Porter, assist maintenance tasks across apartment communities as part of a jack-of-all-trades team. Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing appliances, plumbing, minor HVAC issues, electrical work, painting, grounds care, and pool maintenance; assist with cleaning and painting to prepare units for re-leasing; respond to maintenance requests with strong communication to keep colleagues informed; prioritize tasks, ensure safety, and deliver customer service while working independently and as part of a maintenance team.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in facilities maintenance, housekeeping, groundskeeping, specialized construction trades, or related work or educational experience
