Job Summary
Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of common areas, including bathrooms, function rooms, stairways, hallways, parking lots, sidewalks, windows, carpets, and floors. Clean assigned public spaces according to guidelines established by the Director of Housekeeping while assisting with special projects and snow removal as needed. Interact with residents, families, guests, and team members with a friendly, courteous, and positive attitude to ensure pleasant and professional encounters. Work at least one weekend day per week in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating consistency, reliability, and thoroughness in all cleaning practices.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work at least one weekend day per week (Tues–Sat or Sun–Thurs)
- An upbeat, friendly, pleasant and courteous demeanor when dealing with peers, supervisors, guests, residents and management
- Must be consistent, reliable and thorough with all cleaning practices
- Must excel in providing cleaning services in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to communicate in English
Desired Qualifications
- Experience providing cleaning services in the restaurant, healthcare, hospital, hotel, hospitality or similar industry is a plus
- Prior experience working with a senior population is preferred
