Job Summary
The Porter role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene at Sports & Social, including responsibilities such as sweeping, mopping floors, dusting furniture, emptying trash containers, cleaning restrooms, wiping glass surfaces, and operating mechanized cleaning equipment. Ideal candidates should be courteous, team-oriented, and able to follow directions. Experience in janitorial work is beneficial but not mandatory. Physical capability to lift items up to 40 pounds and to frequently stand and move about the facility is required.
Required Qualifications
- Courteous and pleasant to all guests
- Ability to work as a team with fellow porters and other staff
- Ability to follow direction from supervisors/managers
- Experience working in the porter or janitorial field is a plus, but not required
- Previous job references are required
- Availability to work nights, weekend and/or holidays may be required
