Job Summary
The Food and Beverage Porter ensures the dish room remains clean and organized, sanitizes all dishware to SNHD standards, replenishes dishware and glassware for BOH and FOH, and stocks service areas to support smooth operations. The role supports guest satisfaction by maintaining clean, stocked service areas, adhering to health department guidelines, and assisting team members as needed. Requires attention to detail, professional appearance, and ability to lift up to 45 lbs; must hold a valid Food Handler’s Card and communicate effectively in English. Familiarity with safety rules and operation standards is expected, along with willingness to operate in both kitchen and dining environments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of restaurant experience preferred
- Must demonstrate honesty and integrity
- Strong customer service skills with a drive for 100% guest satisfaction
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Food Handler’s certification card
- Valid Food Handler’s Card
