Sweep interior corridors, stairways, lobbies, and laundry rooms while mopping designated areas to maintain a clean and satisfactory environment. Clean doors, closets, locker rooms, offices, and toilets; remove refuse and debris in proper containers according to the sanitation schedule. Administer the recycling program per city guidelines, police grounds and playgrounds, and replace burned-out light bulbs in public areas. Wash windows, paint or remove graffiti, strip, wax, and buff corridors and lobbies. Clean boiler rooms, basements, and vacant apartments; assist maintenance staff with repairs where possible. Report broken mailboxes, malfunctioning doors, leaks, faulty equipment, and broken glass to your supervisor. Direct resident concerns to the maintenance office and perform snow removal during winter months. Attend staff meetings and training sessions as directed by supervisors. Maintain person and uniform in a clean and neat manner while on duty.
