Job Summary
Sweep all debris from floors, ensure surfaces are dry and free of spills, and collect soiled cups for washing. Dispose of trash and biohazard spills appropriately while maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the branded location. Stock stations with prescribed supplies, perform opening and closing side-work, and properly remove and store garbage, dirty service ware, and linens. Comply with Department of Health standards and Tao Group Hospitality safety codes, reporting all breakage or equipment damage immediately to management. Participate in daily pre-service meetings, training sessions, and assist with additional tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Basic understanding and ability to converse in English
- Experience in hospitality or high volume restaurants
- Ability to write and verbally communicate
- Must be able to print legibly for team members, management, and guests to read
- Must be able to bend, kneel, and/or stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to move quickly
- Must be able to push and lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must have good positive energy throughout the day
- Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards
- Must be effective as part of a team; ability to interact with internal and external customers, managers, and co-workers in a professional, courteous manner
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to handle a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
