Job Summary
Manage vehicle flow in service stalls, service lane, service drive, and service parking lot. Work with service advisors to track tasks, drive vehicles from service stalls, ensure vehicles have steering wheel covers and floor mats installed, prepare customer vehicles for return after repairs, remove coverings before delivery, clean driveways and sidewalks, provide transportation for customers, monitor traffic flow to sales and service lots, and adhere to safety policies. Demonstrates company values in interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors. Must be able to work outdoors, be energetic, and have strong customer service and communication skills; requires valid driver's license, ability to drive both automatic and manual vehicles, and ability to lift 50 pounds. This is a full-time, on-site role at Parks Chevrolet Charlotte in Charlotte, NC.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must be energetic and able to walk at a fast pace and stand for 8 hours a day
- Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Must be able to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds by self more than 50 with assistance
- Must be able to tolerate harsh weather conditions: excessive heat and excessive cold
- Must be able and willing to spend most of the day outdoors
