Job Summary
Transport items between departments, load and unload delivery trucks, operate trash compactors, and organize backroom supplies to ensure timely replenishment of hangers, racks, and bins. Maintain inventory levels by notifying management when stock is low, document arrivals, and remove hazards to keep walkways clear for the production team. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff while anticipating production needs to streamline workflow. Work in a fast-paced, noisy, and brightly lit atmosphere requiring flexibility to switch tasks based on operational demands.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures for cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Capable of safely and effectively performing essential job functions in accordance with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting both qualitative and quantitative productivity requirements
- Must have the ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 70 lbs, frequently exert up to 25 lbs. of force, and constantly apply negligible force when handling objects
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Proficient in performing repetitive motions such as extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction and working primarily with fingers rather than the whole hand or arm
- Skilled in tasks involving seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hand or hands
- Capable of maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces, as well as maintaining balance when performing agile tasks
- Possesses clarity of vision at 20 inches or less and 20 feet or more
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and busy environment
- The ability to work effectively in a noisy environment
- The ability to work effectively in a bright environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- A high degree of flexibility
