Job Summary
Complete minor repairs and building improvements, including ascending ladders and moving equipment up to 20 pounds. Clean all common amenity areas, hallways, stairways, parking garages, and elevators, while preparing offices and storefronts daily. Monitor bathrooms for cleanliness, remove debris and litter, and respond to cleaning emergencies like major spills or wet floor hazards. Place safety warning signs as needed and power wash areas when applicable. This on-site residential hospitality role requires a rotating on-call schedule including nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 6 – 12 months porter experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
- Must be reliable and professional
- Attention to detail
- Prepared to execute all duties and responsibilities in a safe and timely manner
- Ascend/descend a ladder to complete various maintenance tasks
- Position self to install equipment in fixed spaces and at awkward angles in a repetitive manner and/or extended periods of time
- Work in a space that includes indoor and outdoor spaces, with and without covering
- Move throughout the property as needed
- Transport boxes and equipment weighing up to 20 pounds
- Communicate with other persons in the building
- Observe details in surrounding areas and on a screen
