Job Summary

Coordinate the physical movement of vehicles through the sales lane to the block and parking following auction. Make and oversee driver, jump start, and push truck operator assignments to promote smooth traffic flow. Conduct inspections of support equipment, pre-sale meetings with drivers regarding return routes and plan changes, and presale walks to verify scheduled lane assignments. Identify and address missing vehicles, overflow areas, and inoperable units while maintaining the run list for key, entry, and number change issues. Respond to customer and dealer inquiries, direct vehicle movement to maintain continuous flow, oversee parking of sold vehicles, and report theft, lot damage, or safety concerns to management. Requires valid driver's license, ability to drive standard and automatic transmissions, and basic mechanical knowledge. Hourly base pay ranges from $13.70 to $20.53 with variable shifts, 100% outdoor work environment, and no remote option.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum High School Diploma/GED
  • Generally, less than 2 years' experience in a related field
  • Safe drivers needed
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles
  • Basic mechanical knowledge of identifying (i.e., flat tires, low gas, jump-starting vehicles.)
  • Required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear
  • Vision abilities required to include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to lift 1-15 pounds
  • Must be able to walk long distances
  • Constant exposure to outdoor weather conditions
  • Moderate noise level
  • (100% outdoors)
  • Drug Testing To be employed in this role, you'll need to clear a pre-employment drug test

Desired Qualifications

  • 6 months of auction or driving experience preferred
  • Knowledge of lot operations/lot layout preferred
  • Knowledge of LDM preferred
