Job Summary
The Porter is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the facility through tasks such as sweeping, mopping floors, dusting furniture, emptying trash containers, cleaning restrooms, and washing windows. This position requires physical endurance including the ability to carry or lift items weighing up to 40 pounds, frequent standing, moving about the facility, and handling objects and equipment. Courteous demeanor towards guests and teamwork skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work as a team with fellow porters and other staff
- Ability to follow direction from supervisors/managers
- Experience working in the porter or janitorial field is a plus
- Previous job references are required
Additional Requirements
- Availability to work nights, weekend and/or holidays may be required
