Job Summary
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and smooth workflow across the kitchen, service, and storage areas. Wash dishes, utensils, trays, and cookware promptly; replenish stock in the kitchen and on the floor. Assist with trash removal, receive and store deliveries, and restock paper goods and cleaning supplies. Support Kitchen Leader and BOH staff with basic prep tasks, including carrying supplies and organizing storage. Ensure storage areas comply with food safety regulations and assist with opening and closing cleaning duties. Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health guidelines. Perform additional ad hoc projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform physical tasks (standing, lifting, bending.)
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, weekends and holidays.
- A strong sense of urgency is essential.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in warm, wet, and busy kitchen environments.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, café, or bakery environment preferred but not required.
