Job Summary
Open restaurant doors each morning and ensure kitchens, equipment, and grounds remain in tip-top condition. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance jobs while maintaining building exteriors, landscaping, and snow removal. Put food orders away accurately, rotate stock in coolers and freezers using the First In-First Out method, and monitor shelf life and code dates. Maintain a basic working knowledge of all restaurant equipment to complete scheduled maintenance safely. Perform these duties while standing for long periods, walking fast-paced shifts, and lifting varying weights as needed.
