Job Summary
Prepare vehicles for service by placing protective mats and communicating interior issues to personnel. Move non-service vehicles to maintain an orderly lot and shuttle customers to and from their homes or workplaces. Use safe driving skills while remaining courteous, and maintain vehicle appearance by notifying the manager of servicing needs. Perform other duties as assigned. This role supports the Service Department at Lonestar Truck Group and TAG Truck Centers, contributing to a hassle-free transaction experience for every customer.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, road signs, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, supervisor and co-workers
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Valid Drivers License
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- Six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
