Job Summary
Keep the property clean and free of trash and debris by picking up trash around buildings, parking areas, and common spaces. Clean breezeways, stairwells, and other shared areas while maintaining dumpster and trash areas. Assist the maintenance team with light tasks, support snow and ice removal, and inspect vacated units to create punch lists. Paint walls, patch holes, and touch up surfaces; replace or repair appliances, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, and hardware as needed. Test HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems to ensure functionality, install blinds, doors, smoke detectors, and other fixtures. Communicate with property management and maintenance staff about unit status and timelines, maintain inventory of supplies, and ensure units meet cleanliness and safety standards before move-in.
Required Qualifications
- Clean and remove debris from walkways, parking lots, and outdoor areas.
- Empty trash cans regularly.
- Maintain tools and equipment; ensure safe and proper use.
- Assist with snow and ice removal (if applicable).
