Job Summary
Maintain community grounds in an attractive condition by watering plants daily, mowing, trimming, fertilizing, and raking lawns. Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment, pressure wash walks, clean pool areas, and assist with emergency situations including fire watch and after-hours coverage. Complete hazard assessments before tasks, follow OSHA standards and safety policies, and maintain required uniforms and professional appearance. Communicate with supervisors at least once daily and report unusual circumstances. Ensure storage areas are locked and lighting is adequate. Assist with custodial work, inventory control, and team tasks as directed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Prior experience
- Must be able to safely lift and carry weights up to fifty (50) pounds without assistance
- Must be able to safely move large appliances such as ranges, refrigerators and washing machines with the use of a hand truck
- Ability to safely use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, saws, various power tools including hand held drills and circular saws
- Ability to safely ascend and descend various types of ladders unassisted
- Tolerance for normal levels of exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions
- Ability to safely access all areas of the property's grounds, regardless of grounds conditions and/or weather conditions, including multilevel structures, with or without the aid of an elevator
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently and possibly for long periods of time
