Job Summary
Maintain community grounds in an attractive condition by watering plants daily, mowing lawns, trimming shrubs, raking, and tending to flowers. Complete hazard assessments before tasks, practice OSHA standards, and maintain all lawn and cleaning equipment per manufacturer guidelines. Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment, pressure wash walks, clean pool areas, and assist with emergency situations including fire watch. Participate in a standby emergency schedule for evening, weekend, and holiday coverage while communicating with the supervisor at least once daily. Ensure storage areas are locked, lighting is adequate, and maintain a professional appearance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
- Prior experience preferred
- Must have a government issued state ID, or valid driver's license if required by Management based on location/property or business needs
- Must be able to safely lift and carry weights up to fifty (50) pounds without assistance
- Must be able to safely ascend and descend various types of ladders unassisted
- Specific vision abilities are required by this job to include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to focus
