Job Summary
Maintain community grounds in an attractive condition by watering potted plants daily, mowing, trimming, fertilizing, and weeding lawns and shrubs. Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment, pressure wash walks, clean pool areas, and assist with emergency situations including fire watch. Complete hazard assessments before tasks, follow OSHA standards, and communicate with the supervisor at least once daily. Report unusual circumstances and ensure storage areas remain locked with adequate lighting. Assist with custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, and trash removal while adhering to manufacturer guidelines for all lawn and cleaning equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
- Prior experience preferred
- Must have a government issued state ID, or valid driver's license if required by Management based on location/property or business needs
- Must be able to safely lift and carry weights up to fifty (50) pounds without assistance
- Must be able to safely access all areas of the property's grounds, regardless of grounds conditions and/or weather conditions, including multilevel structures, with or without the aid of an elevator
- Specific vision abilities are required by this job to include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to focus
- Ability to safely use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, saws, various power tools including hand held drills and circular saws
