Job Summary
Maintain daily interior and exterior cleanliness of buildings, common areas, grounds, and vacant units, including vacuuming, floor stripping, trash removal, and light maintenance like bulb replacement. Perform exterior wall cleaning, lawn care, pool upkeep, and storm preparation tasks such as placing mats during inclement weather. Identify and report unsafe conditions, unlocked doors, and security concerns to the manager. Operate industrial cleaning equipment including buffing machines and vacuums while lifting up to 50 pounds. Work a flexible schedule based on operational needs, including additional hours and adjusted shifts as required.
Required Qualifications
- Thorough understanding of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions
- High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Proficiency using large industrial cleaning equipment, including a buffing machine for wood floors and other finished surfaces, as well as large industrial vacuum cleaners
- Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs, including additional hours and adjusted shifts as required
- Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance
